Information Analyzer is the massively scalable team based data profiling and audit tool that runs on the IBM Information Server. Information Analyzer uses the power of the Information Server parallel engine to provide 100% data profiling for very large databases or fast profiling for smaller databases.
Information Analyzer provides standard profiling functions of table analysis, column analysis and relationship analysis. It publishes profiling results to HTML or PDF reports to provide a rich data dictionary of technical metadata, reference data and profiling statistics. It shares this enhanced metadata with other Information Server products.

- Data Quality Assessment: find out how complete, accurate and insightful your data really is with deep data analysis and audit.
- Data Audit: using the Ruleset and Rules engine of Information Analyzer to set up data audit processes and the governance and data stewardship to support the audit process and the handling of audit results.
- IBM Data Validator: using Information Analyzer data quality rules and the InfoSphere Exception Manager to create a data validator with rulesets, rules, stewardship and an exception handling portal.
- Reference Data Management: use Information Analyzer to define valid reference data, use profiling and rulesets to track conformance to those standards, use Business Glossary to expose valid reference data to users.
